This blanket is very showy thanks to seed stitch edge and the combination of 4 stitch cables with straight lines.
The measurement of this pattern is proposed for a baby stroller or car seat, but you can adapt it as you like having a look at blanket measures post.

Pattern
- Cast on 56 stitches.
- Bottom edge in seed stitch:
- Row 1: repeat until the row end *1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch*.
- Row 2: repeat until the row end *1 purl stitch, 1 knit stitch*.
- Row 3 to 6: repeat rows 1 and 2.
- Inside pattern with seed stitch side edge:
- Row 7: repeat 3 times *1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch* // repeat 4 times *2 purl stitches, 4 knit stitches, 2 purl stitches, 1 under knit stitch* // 2 purl stitches, 4 knit stitches, 2 purl stitches // repeat 3 times *1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch*.
- Row 8: repeat 3 times *1 purl stitch, 1 knit stitch* // repeat 4 times *2 knit stitches, 4 purl stitches, 2 knit stitches, 1 purl stitch* // 2 knit stitches, 4 purl stitches, 2 knit stitches // repeat 3 times *1 purl stitch, 1 knit stitch*.
